This NFL Draft sneak peak will get football fans excited

NFL, NFL Draft

Football fans are hyped as they watch the 2021 NFL Draft stage begin to take shape more than a week prior to the big event.

More than two months after the conclusion of Super Bowl 55 and a month since the start of 2021 league year, football fans await for the 2021 NFL Draft with great anticipation. This is the case every season, as diehards wonder who their favorite team will select with their draft picks.

Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 the Fan in Cleveland provided a sneak peak of the Cleveland lakefront being transformed to the main stage of the NFL Draft. Below is the preview of the stage, as well as the NFL’s draw-up of the final product.

The 2021 NFL Draft stage at the Cleveland lakefront is taking shape

The event will take place at the Draft Theater, which is adjacent from FirstEnergy Stadium, from April 29 until May 1. Only 3,000 vaccinated individuals will be allowed to attend at the main stage, where they are required to wear a face mask.

This will be the NFL Draft’s return to the road since the event was held in Nashville, Tennessee. The 2020 edition was scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, but the event was made entirely virtual due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This year’s NFL Draft will provide some intrigue in the first round. Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson are expected to be taken off the draft board with the first two picks by the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets, respectively. The real fun begins with the San Francisco 49ers, who hold the third overall pick after moving up in a blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins. That leaves many wondering which quarterback the 49ers will select — Ohio State’s Justin Fields, Alabama’s Mac Jones or North Dakota State’s Trey Lance?

Then, there are the Atlanta Falcons, who hold the fourth overall pick. Will they draft quarterback Matt Ryan’s successor? Or will they select a pass-catcher like Florida tight end Kyle Pitts to give Ryan another weapon to target on game day?

There are plenty of questions that will be answered in a little over a week, live from Cleveland.
